Memphis has been called the most racist city in America. I've experienced it, and many others I've met had similar experiences there.

Uhh, it's not.

But cool anecdotal story you got there, bro.

I hope that shirt doesn't say something mean about jesus on it, but he does have tattoos so you never know

He works at a Mexican restaurant so it might be referring to a Latino named Jesus, not Yahweh Jesus.

I guess it's just all coincidence. But I've never been outright denied service in a chain restaurant anywhere else in the country, simply because we weren't the same color as everyone else in the place. It happened to us downtown Memphis.

The Obama presidency set this country backwards 50 years. It remains the single most racist thing I have witnessed in my 45 years in this country. He was elected solely by skin color, and not his own merits.

Some truth to this.

You aren't alone. Until recently - I wasn't aware every good-sized town had a Chinese restaurant that only served "REAL China food" to folks from the old country. I just never assume racism by default... The language barrier made it impossible to ascertain if this one "traditional" Chinese restaurant closed at exactly 7:32 PM on this particular day according to custom or not...randomly coinciding with the time I arrived. Long story short - I learned a few choice phrases from Google Translate when I went back the next day.

I didn't read that article, but that dude's picture checks every single white people box. And he definitely wrote that note himself.

That is, literally, one of the least important things about who I am to me. My family, job, education and a plethora of other things are far more important.

Imaginationland. He wasn't denied because of race. He forgot the intricacy of the song.

Like all of these "incidents" I'm going to go ahead and say that there is a greater than 50% chance that this didn't actually happen.

All that shite is just extra window dressing on the individual foundation that is you, which is based on your race.

Things slowed down on his Gofundme during the night but he still made about $900. He is up to $2525, averaging $120 per hour.

If this grabs some national traction he could get a years rent by the end of the day.
