Sounds to me like they all want to be segregated again. I got no problem with this. Makes things a whole lot easier for police officers. White dude in black part of town.... arrest his arse. Black dude in white part of town, arrest his arse.
I will say this, no restaurant in black parts of town will be able to staff waiters.

I don't know what the trends have been for the last 8 years or so... but IME - It would take 3-5 Soul Bowl 3-day weekends to to make the same amount working the exact same shifts for during a single Essence Fest.
It's one event I generally made better money behind an upscale restaurant bar than if I worked a volume bar.
