So someone filmed a member of student government collecting miniature flags that had been left on the ground? This guy's picking up trash, but the people who dropped their flags on the ground and walked away are the good Americans?

Where are you getting that from?
It says they were from a 9/11 memorial. I don’t think this was July 4th like celebration with people waving around flags. He also posted a statement defending the action. He didn’t say he was cleaning up after people.
