I doubt this affidavit is enough to really change things with a new trial. Curious if they offer her the same deal again b/c they already have 2 convictions for the major people.
But now their victim has a major credibility problem and the trial court has a directive to let it all in.

I don't recall if this is 100% accurate, but I seem to vaguely recall that a pretty reasonable deal was offered... something like 10 years. Or trial and face mandatory minimum life for the specific charge she had. She gambled thinking her "i was drugged" defense would work and lost.
Tough call if you feel you're truly innocent, but given the outrage at the time, she was probably facing a stacked deck.

Well maybe she believed she would be found not guilty. If nothing else she at least has a new trial.
And reading the opinion, she may have been committing adultery and certainly has some culpability in her actions but with the new evidence it might show the other woman, who was Perkins wife at the time, consented and may have even encouraged the three way then when she was identified in the video denied and played the victim card.
The video was found after Perkins was arrested so this woman might have thought she was going to be brought into the middle of it even possibly being a suspect.
I think she lied and let Curtin take the fall.

What I have read on several forums threads is the the Curtins lived directly across the street from Jason Ard when the film was made on Perkins Rd. You have to wonder who the other performers were.
