He's only been with the department for a year, and is a Ohio State graduate himself. He shot and killed the sick frick within one minute of the attack beginning.
Dude needs an all-expenses paid vacations anywhere in the world he wants.

What do you think he's feeling right now?
I can't imagine that in any situation, even one as warranted and necessary as this, that taking someone's life can be easy to process.

I would hope;
Remorse that it had to be done.
Happy that no more people were hurt/killed including himself.
Knowing now that he can do what needs to be done if and when the time comes.
Hopefully that myself and people like me applaud him for doing a great job in a bad situation.
