Ask just about any cop, and they will tell you that their FIRST job is to "go home at the end of my shift".

Well obviously. Frankly I question even the need for cops in the first place. At least in the sense that we understand them. But if it’s a requirement to have them, they should all be male.

It's a cop's duty to fill out the reports so that insurers have documentation proving a loss when victims file a claim.
That's about it, besides the revenue collection for the local, state, and Fed. IRS would have many fewer filings if an armed thug presence was not highly visible daily as a reminder if you don't pay you will be assaulted by armed govt. agents putting your life in jeopardy.

Hmmm, my mother was saved by a cop from an armed man breaking into her home. My brother worked at a gas station in college and was saved by a cop when he was held up at gunpoint in the middle of the night. I do fire/ems and cops have saved my arse or helped me almost on an every shift basis. I agree this looks awful on the captain here but just b/c you are a young gay punk doesn’t mean you have to throw all cops into the useless category. And no I’m not triggered, you are.
