Fantastic. I also lived in Spanish Town for several years, no break ins. Wow! It is as if having an alarm and not leaving items in my car makes me less likely to become a victim...

I keep hearing of this rumored return, but I think it's just a bunch of bullshite spin. They busted their nut with that last push. I don't think they have the drive to do it all over again.
I live like 500 yds from the damn BR/St George demarc. I support the movement even though it probably wouldn't be beneficial, perhaps even detrimental, to my property value.

Well we pay plenty of taxes here in BR to drive on roads that are pretty much gravel, so there's that.

Oh, victim shaming. How progressive of you.

I prefer booby traps.

Well, this thread has gone awry...
The transformation TBR has made from an anti-crime group into a community organizing wing of the left is despicable. Bagert used his Catholic background to recruit some of the local Parish Pastors (like St. George), knowing good and well what his intentions were with the group.

What's telling about TBR is that a number of the pastors have ditched the group because they felt bullied by them when they didn't support their socialist agenda and aggressive tactics on certain issues.

Who ditched them? Just curious and lazy.

I have never heard of a Priest referred to as a Pastor.
May not be commonly used casual term, but it is definitely correct. Look up any Catholic Church and under staff it will list the pastor.

TBR is a socialist/leftist wolf in sheep's clothing. They're really nothing more than an ACORN-type group and an extension of the Democratic party.
Exactly- modeled after the Saul Alinski/Obama/ Community organizers.

It was stated in a business report article but I'm not sure if they were mentioned. I know they quoted one of the pastors.

TBR denies this, and there’s no record of the group ever publicly calling out a church leader or member as being anti anything, much less bigoted. But some local churches have been divided internally over positions TBR has taken on issues like the CATS tax, St. George or the ITEP. As a result, some have left the group altogether. Others have never joined because it’s too controversial, its position on issues too polarizing.

I went to a memorial service there once. Man, did I get some strong "I'm gonna get forced to join a cult" vibes.

Their statute of limitations runs out towards the end of summer I believe so they can start another push.

Maybe so while Kip was in office but once Sharon Brooms started bee-bopping about the city government hallways turning everything into a clown show, its revitalized the St. George base.

I like how Helmet and Kibbles were all about Healing Place until they wanted to be black then they both found "problems" with HP so they could have an excuse to go to the black churches.
