You don’t need one… go to a smoke shop and buy some of that ultra-low THC weed legal… use the container it comes in to carry around your ultra-high THC weed

I set up the video appointment in the afternoon when I was working night shift. Slept through the call and had a text from the doctor when I woke up... texted him back and he said "no problem. I already approved you"

From what I've heard, it's pretty easy.

So purchasing a gun cannot be done if a person is registered for a Medical Weed card, by federal law?

You can thank the two ring circus called the state legislature for that one.
Limit it to two growers that were subbed out by LSU and Southern AG departments to grow and manufacture. Then they limited dispensaries initially one per health region. Recently, I think they added a few more licenses in the larger metros. Heck, I think the new one in New Orleans had some billboards in the Houma area to get some business from dispensary in Region 3 advertising it for 149.

Ridiculously easy. They have Groupons for telehealth appointments to get a referral. Then the physician sends your referral directly to the dispensary and you walk in and buy something. I think the referral is good for 1 year.
The "card" is the prescription that the dispensary fills. Technically you're required to keep the prescription on hand any time you have the marijuana on you.

In the late 90s I did a persuasive speech in college English on why medical marijuana should be used. Was a topic from a list the instructor had. Did all kinds of research, then had to present it. I had no idea what I was talking about nor had I ever smoked anything much less a cigarette in my life.
Looking back I was ahead of my time. The class probably thought I was crazy.
