Bought her some air fryer thing she wanted too. How fricked am I? Slightly less than a toaster? Can I play the "you aren't my mother" card?

Went to the grocery yesterday here in Vegas. The Smith’s had very little chicken, pork and no ground beef. Went to the Albertsons across the street and it was fully stocked.

Local IGA store here in Floyd County has limited meat purchases to 4 packages per person.

Everything's fine up here.

Even if there is a meat shortage for a little while, we still got beans and shite.

You won't die if you don't have meat.

Costco in BR this past week had ground meat for $3.50 (not kidding) per pound and whole ribeyes for $8.95 pp and 5-lbs ribeye roasts for $42. Not bad and lots of it.

Some man-children will. I know a grown man who won't touch vegetables or legumes. Boggles my mind.

Got four different steaks and some chicken breast from the local grocery store. Nothing was low on stock. They even had a lot of the prime stuff

Have you ever seen a feedlot or an industrial hen house? No way we will run out of meat anytime soon.

At the Farmers Market today, we picked up two chuck roasts, two New York strips, six pounds of chicken breasts, two pounds of meatloaf mix, two pounds of ground sirloin and three pounds of applewood smoked bacon. No shortage here.

The bottleneck is processing, not supply. Cattle producers are getting shafted with low prices paid by the processors because capacity is offline. Price to consumers has gone up significantly due to short supply. Processors are currently getting the best of both sides.

Local butchers up here are booked for several months out
