I understand your position. We will have to wait until we receive all of the facts. There must be something we are all missing.

Especially if there are witness reports that you shot him again when he was already on the ground. Who knows if it's true or not, but the self-defense argument ends there.

wtf are you talking about "what we deem punishable by death". Id like to see what you do at a stoplight when some big guy, black or white, gets out of his car and thinks he's gonna kick your arse. Are you just gonna get out and give him a hug and tell him it'll be ok? It sounds like the witnesses said joe was apologizing. Why get out of the car and apologize? It sounds like joe got out, wanted to beat some arse, then realized mister ron had a gun and had his aha moment. It doesn't work that way, you can't beat your chest like your big shite and then not face the consequences. Again the cops agreed with mr ron so its in your best interest to do so as well, this isn't gonna go anywhere, its a self defense manslaughter at best, but in no way was this premeditated murder. Ron didn't leave his home yesterday with the intention of slaying a young black man, but Im sure the don lemon and blm feel otherwise.

wow when are they going to subpoena you? I look forward to your star eyewitness testimony at trial!

Got to love the people saying "Let's wait til all the facts come out before judging Gasser." and then turn around and make shite up like "joe got out, wanted to beat some arse, etc."

White 54 year old dude pulls up at a light and sees the big young black buck in the car next to him beating on a female passenger in his car. White guy pulls a gun and yells at black buck to stop. Black buck keeps beating the female. White guy shoots him. Justified. Ole white boy walks.

What???? So by that logic you can walk up and shoot anyone committing a crime?

Certain crimes, yes.

And it's not by my logic, it is what the law is.

See, I know it. Apparently you don't. I'm being factual. You're being knee jerkey and uninformed.

your entire argument boils down to,he was white so he must be innocent. Let me go back to the Dylann Roof thread, I'm sure you have some great insights there

you're comparing this to the dylan roof mass shooting??

If that's the case, then does that justify him getting shot? So, every Tom, Dick, and Jane can straight up shoot someone every time a situation like this occurs? To me, that's just not right.

those were stories told to the media

if that same person didn't go to the investigators and say that same story and sign said statement... then it's all hearsay and rumor

He was detained.

Is it true that the rumors is that Glasser, who is a 54 year old man that looks like he barely weighs 165 lbs, yanked a 20 something year old NFL Running back who probably weighs 225 lbs out of his car?

Yes you can dumbass holy shite up until that point it was a verbal dispute. If someone says sorry and cools off and backs up you don't get to shoot them.

If you said that shite in court your lawyer would say frick it he's retarded send him to jail.

I have no answer for this rumor but he was around 210

But something I do know I learned in the military it's actually very easy to rip someone much larger out of the car from a seated position than you'd think. You have leverage and their center of gravity working against them so that itself is plausible

my uneducated opinion would say that you would end up charged with manslaughter in that instance

Jesus Christ emilio, then please do tell what you would do in that situation? Hide under the car seat and call 911?

In most states those consequences are criminal intimidation.

Not sure what world you live in that beating your chest spewing hot air deserves being shot

Why did he have to get of the car in the first place? So what if someone is out of their car yelling at you. Just drive off when the light turns green. You don't get to shoot people because you're a scared pussy. Joe is an average sized human being. It's not like he's Will Smith. You're trying to paint a picture of the angry black guy getting what he deserved and literally dismissing the shooter because he's white.

Posted this on MSB but figured there might be some people with actual law experience on the OT:

What is the precedence in a situation like this?? Everyone on my facebook is saying the typical if he was black he'd still be in jail yada yada yada...

Common sense tells you that the guy should still be behind bars but what is the actual legal proceedings for something like this? Is it completely out of the norm for a guy to be released under these circumstances?

ETA: I'm not picking sides, I just want to know the legal procedure for this because my facebook is on fire right now

No. Murderers go to prison. People accused of murder and still innocent until proven guilty may get out on bail.
