I try to be very kind to fast food workers because they are at least working and contributing.

I hope she at least had to make restitution to the victim for her injuries.

It's always these sorry MF-ers wearing some flip flop/Crocs + pajama pants combo who are throwing haymakers, talking all loud on speakerphone, tossing hot coffee, hitting some person with a steel chair at a Waffle House....

Society really needs to start fearing the justice system again. I'm talking catching that bitch and throwing two cups of coffee on her.

Happened in November. She was arraigned.
TBD if prosecutor decides to drop the charges, but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

Didn’t mcds get sued for millions for accidentally spilling hot coffee on someone? And this trash only gets a $500 fine for throwing it intentionally on someone.

There's no more entitled group in the world than American black women.

No matter how hot the coffee was, it’s likely the woman didn’t actually get burned. Water (which coffee mostly is) loses heat energy extremely quickly when thrown through the air like that. It would still be uncomfortably warm, but likely wouldn’t do any actual damage after a few feet. If there was “serious bodily injury” or anything like that, I imagine the charges would be different.

They got sued for millions which was reduced to hundreds of thousands because they kept serving coffee at scalding hot temperatures, after repeatedly injuring people with it, because it was all you can drink and it forced people to drink it more slowly. Also, Ms. Liebeck originally sought simple reimbursement for her significant third degree burns and she was told to go frick herself.
Liebeck v. McDonald's wasn’t a frivolous lawsuit and it’s bullshite that it’s frequently cited as such

Does intent matter?
I somewhat agree with no harm no foul.
