I could go for a triple stack Egg McMuffin. That one piece of ham could definitely be two. If you're triple stacking sausage sandwiches though you're definitely getting the fats.

I don’t think I could eat more than one piece of McDonald’s sausage and not get sick.

Their breakfast on a bun is a close 2nd, but I whole heartily agree.

Why did they skip from one meat all the way to three? Wouldn't a gradual progression make more sense? I guess that wouldn't have gained as much attention as this will get though.

Breakfast, the most useless meal of the day

I love how part of the new fad of dieting is "intermittent fasting". Besides my morning 2 cups of coffee, All I eat is lunch and dinner. I've been that way for years.

Would be daily allotment of salt for sure. But I could skip lunch and be good for sup-sup.

Today.com article on new breakfast sammiches

quote:

using McDonald's online nutrition calculator, a Bacon, Egg & Cheese McGriddle plus a Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddle weigh in at 970 calories, 50 grams of fat, 90 grams of carbohydrates, 38 grams of protein and 2,530 milligrams of sodium.

I'm pretty sure plenty places already have 1k calorie sammiches.

lol, yep. I rarely eat breakfast and usually eat lunch and dinner between 1 and 7 pm. I started reading up on this "intermittent fasting" thinking it would be a good way to start controlling my intake, and realized it's what I already do! I didn't realize that skipping one meal a day was considered fasting lol
