the non-pc answer is McDonalds is now viewed as ghetto (service and clientele) food and customers are staying away.

But I guess no one can say that.

I dont think that's really true.

I think McDonalds is now viewed as bad quality food that's really bad for you

When I have the option of going to Chick-fil-A or McDonald's, I'm always going to pick the one that won't give me a stomach ache. I love McDonald's going in, but that stuff is complete garbage that makes me useless for the rest of the day.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that any time the media wants to stir up another fast food health attack story, McDonalds seems to be the target. Meanwhile, other places get to continue being inventive with their food, marketing late-night after-dinner binge eating, 32-ounce milkshakes, etc.

McDonald's need to quit trying to be 8 different things they aren't. I don't want "artisanal" hamburgers or healthy grilled chicken wraps when I go to McD's. I was a greasy arse delicious regular old McD's burger.

I'm sure that's part of it but that goes with being #1. I think they need to embrace who they are instead of trying to cater to the health nuts who won't eat their food anyway.

It might have something to do with the fact that their food is pretty much inedible. Their breakfast is the only thing I can tolerate.

I agree with all your other points except this one. Artificial scarcity is the only thing that keeps the mcrib relevent.

They don't? I've gotten a burger for breakfast so I guess I assumed you could get a honey-chicken-biscuit at lunch.

did you know that you can get the chicken egg and cheese on a biscuit also? It's not on the menu, but you can order it.

AKA the best fast food breakfast of all time.
