Here's 1 way to tackle crime. Fire the DA. FUND the police. Do away with the false narrative that "blacks are disproportionally arrested for crimes they don't commit".
If anything has been proven 100% correct by the actions of these leftist mayors. It's that the trope of, "black people are targeted by police" was not only a lie, but crime statistics and the surge of crime proves once DA's and judges started releasing criminal based on skin color, that the actions and arrest/conviction rates pre-BLM were appropriate if not under served.

Create a societal issue due to your lack of leadership.
Come up with a "solution" to the problem, while blaming those who had nothing to do with it. (Republicans/White People)
Profit! (Committees/Grift/Kickbacks)
REPEAT.
You can look at just about every dividing "issue" right now in American, and point to one political party that created said issue. Go ahead, name it. It will go back to the Democrat Party at some point.
