What would be cool is if Maverick had this showdown dogfight lined up at the end and before he can get there ICE MAN shows up to dogfight and says Im your huckleberry and the guy is like my fights not with you ICE MAN and Ice is all like on the contraire we had some unfinished business and the guy is like I was just playing around and Ice is like I wasnt. So the guy is like alright motherfricker you wanna go below the hard deck and Ice is like say when motherfricker and then the guy goes for guns but ice puts a stinger right between the guys eyes and then Maverick shows up and is like frick Ice I just wanted to suck his dick.

I’ve read that the sequel will actually be about Goose’s son growing up to be a Naval Aviator and despising Maverick while blaming him for his father’s death. But of course...... in the end I’m sure they’ll be best friends forever when he learns that it’s all Ice Man’s fault.
