That mfer was caught on Dixie Bar, they talked about it on local TV news. (That’s the big sandbar right off fort Morgan that’s known for catching redfish and sharks when it’s muddy as frick like rn)
We have the EZ zone and expanded our territorial waters due to this. In the 80s the fricking Japanese long liners parked massive long liner ships and processing boats right outside our 10 mile limit or whatever it was and caught probably billions of pounds of sharks nearly wiping them out. They basically cut the fins off and dumped the carcass overboard. These were big factory ship and I am sure there are videos online.
That’s when we expanded our territorial waters and put in shark protections etc. and that’s how we got here

Well yeah that scenario I see your point. I didnt mean open season to the globe. When I fish in the surf at dauphin island or urnge beach I have to take screenshots of the regs. You bring up a good point

Same here brother. Can I keep triggerfish or AJ today, etc etc. This is how I know you can’t keep them, I am catching them you can’t keep them. You would not believe the triggerfish I have had to throw back.
They are ridiculous right now. Sharks are everywhere, they don’t bother people 99.99% of the time. I actually saw a 7 foot bull swim right between my daughter and wife in lauderdale once. They never even saw him

Did it have a La license plate in it's stomach?
I watched Jaws the other day and it was a Louisiana license plate that said, "Sportsmans Paradise".

well....need to invite those mother frickers back because it sucks that when you go out, half the time cant get a fish in the boat because of those frickers. Way too over populated right now.

You ever seen a Tiger up close? Beautiful fish.
I saw this one at the Ga. Aquarium a few weeks ago…
Needless to say, I was impressed.

If one attacks you just gently turn it over onto its back. They basically fall asleep.
I seen it on Facebook

Friendly reminder about bullsharks- they've been recorded as far north as Illinois. For you inland baws that like to take a dip in the river every now and then
