So far, #1 is far easier to believe than anything else. Not sure what they mean by "platforms" and the cameras thing, bizarre.
I was joking by doing this conspiracy theory, if you couldn't catch on...
I find it highly unlikely someone did this given there are cameras in the hallways. It would take some stealthy arse shite to do, especially for a room at the end of the hall...

gotta feel for his family. they'll never get over this and will likely be in danger themselves from retribution for his actions.

I wonder why his brother was so vague about what the shooter's job was other then "he's retired" and he "did some stuff. It's public record"

Holy crap, 58???
This morning I read this and thought it had low casualty.
Sad sad.

Great. Here come the conspiracy theorists now. Might as well throw out a few possible ones.
Conspiracy theory #1: He didn't kill anyone, someone else took over his room, killed him, and escaped before police arrived.
Conspiracy theory #2: He was blackmailed into doing it by the government.
Conspiracy theory #3: The Illuminati group were in charge of this and framed him.
you forgot the whole, communications went down across the country and there is a vote on "silencers" due up, angle
Because we are listing conspiracy theory points:
The shooter's previous employment was with Lockheed Martin

I'd change my name and flee the country if a blood relative did that.

Going to be tough considering they'll be interviewed and watched by every law enforcement/investigative agency for a while.
Fleeing the country would only make them look guilty.

True that.

The flashing was a light. There were two of them flashing during most of Fox's broadcast when it was dark. One was kind of blue, and the other was that one

Well maybe add getting a facelift and being on the down low for a bit before eventually moving out of the country.

This article says Paddock had plenty of money to play with and would win $250,000 at a time:

Does anyone else find it strange? He's brother looks fairly average, the dad was a convicted most wanted bank robber and the shooter was at one time an accountant but plays the part of high stakes gambler? Something doesn't add up.

For sure it will be a tough road ahead for his relatives

I thought I remember him saying they owned a business together or something like that. I just assumed he didn't want to have his business on TV like that.

Yeah I'm not one to jump on board conspiracy theories just pointing out what appears to me to be very odd/inconsistent details at this point which very well could be nothing but bear some degree of attention.

Should be pretty easy to debunk if it happened. Probably cameras all over the hotel that would show someone else coming to and from the room.
I do agree that this dude as the shooter seems very unusual. In most other shootings we kind of nod our heads and see the person that did it and aren't shocked.
Some folks said way prior in this thread he had some sort of lawsuit against the hotel. Not sure if that is false or not. Supposedly he was betting s lot of $ in the days and weeks leading up to this. That lends some sort of credence to this guy going out with a bang.

After watching that video, I was trying to think of what I'd be saying if one of my relatives did that. For one sister, there is not a chance in the world I'd believe it. For the other one, I could believe it, but she's too stupid to work a gun.
The brother acted like I expected him to act though. Mind blown

Apparently he also may have worked for Lockheed Martin, so perhaps his role there may have been public in some capacity.

Yea, he thought it was a joke at first, but when the police started blowing up his phone it suddenly got real very quickly.
