I mentioned a few pages ago about it sounding like two weapons when I first saw the video. Replayed it and it definitely sounds like an echo.

They found Marilou Danley's players club card in the room. She could've given it to him to earn points for her and been asleep in Mesquite when this happened.

Listening to the radio and they played audio. Definitely sounded like bump fired and something like 5.56. Based off what I just heard I'd say AR-type rifle being bump fired.

News has been saying they located her. She prob was at home.
Posted on 10/2/17 at 7:22 am to baybeefeetz
That came from an eyewitness interview. Said she came up to their party earlier saying that they were all going to die tonight.
Described her as a Spanish looking lady.

I think it was an AR15 with a shaved bolt catch.

The higher pitch sounds are usually the actual shots, the lower, thud like sounds that come after are usually echos.

A lot of gun knowledge measuring up in here. Not hating but...

I also think it was an AR15, likely with a bumpfire, due to the small inconsistencies in the rate of fire as he is firing. The pitch is higher than I would expect from a larger caliber weapon, but you have to account for the fact that he was likely firing from within the hotel room, which would naturally suppress the sound(especially the deeper sound we naturally think of when hearing said caliber weapon)The muzzle flash can clearly be seen, though, so the sound may have been more affected by the shape of the Mandaley from his position rather than his firing position inside the room.

Enough of you guys guessing on the type of weapon. Jesus
Posted on 10/2/17 at 7:26 am to GetEmTigers08
Do we have a shooter yet? Has he been apprehended? Killed? All I see is discussion of the type of gun.

Just watched the last video that someone posted and yeah you can definitely eat the difference in the two sounds.
And there’s a lot more thuds than cracks. Almost sounds like you hear 2-3 echos for every shot.
Might not have been any sort of automatic-type weapon.

I just can't wrap my head around why all those people just hit the deck when they figured out those were gunshots. You're in a big arse open area, get the frick out of there and find some safety.
