Also based on that acoustics analysis video, you would have heard the ricochet before the report due to distance.

Damn, I hadn't seen that either. Definitely sounds like two different shooters.

Here is another video with some explanation GRTiger and Da Sheik

Is that legit? That's definitely 2 firearms simultaneously. Weird.

That's the guy the fired 200 rounds into the hallway to scare away security, then escaped and barricaded the door to the stairs right by Paddock's room. In full tactical gear, he could probably go where he wanted in the panic.

You can hear it in multiple videos, also the taxi cab driver videos you can here 8 loud burst followed by 13 muffled burst 7 seconds later, others on here say he could have switch windows or pulled his muzzle in but i call BS on the pulling the muzzle in because with the angle from the 32nd floor to the concert area you pretty much have to have the gun completely out of the window...An also if the guard was shot 6 minutes (My Bad) before the shooting started and Paddock went into panic mode and started firing as many shots as he can why would he get up and switch windows knowing his time could possible be narrowed due to the guard busting him (That is if the guard wasnt part of of this)

Security guard in room is possibly corrupt but the security guard on grounds appearing like he's shooting is just a good ole baw

i'm not buying the belt fed theory. an AK-47 using a 7.62 with a drum, sounds like a belt fed. i'm not saying there isn't a possibility of 2 shooters at all, just not buying the belt fed theory.

1:38 into the video

This guy owns floors 35 and up at the Mandalay Bay. The top 6 floors is the Four Seasons:

Saudi Prince ends Twitter Fued with Trump

Pretty sure all they had to do was escape up 3 floors and get away.

We discussed ballistics pages ago in this thread and if ballistics could tell us the distance of the shooter/shooters. Well this guy breaks it down based on the ballistics of a .223 and theorizes that there were two shooters, one at Mandalay 425yards and one somewhere at 250yards.

Oh my god so many so called experts are coming out of the woodwork trying to support the two gunman hypothesis. I won't call myself an expert but I am a firearm enthusiast with a solid background on firearms acoustics and professionally part of my job deals with acoustics, acoustics attenuation, and acoustic testing to industry standards. I do this math every day and because I deal with noise attenuation I am familiar with how sound travels and is generated.

Guy gets much of the math right but your math is only as good as your assumptions and his has glaring weaknesses. His math does not take into account the distance the recording device is from the sound of the "ricochet" (which is the supersonic shock wave not a sound of a ricochet but that's another argument). His math only works if the bullet is fired directly at the recording device. The sound from the "ricochet" also has to follow the laws of physics. The farther away the bullet path is from the recording device the longer time it will take for the sound of the "ricochet" to arrive at the recording device. He doesn't know that relationship so he can't accurately calculate the distance the shooter is away from the recording device. That's a pretty large venue the recording device could easily be 100+ meters away from the bullet path and therefore the source of the "ricochet" sound. Because of that delay the farther the round is shot away from the recording device his math would calculate the shooter as being closer than he actually is. Without knowing the exact location the recording was made and exactly how far the bullet noise was generated away from the recording device you can not mathematically calculate the distance from the shooter with any type of certainty.

TL-DR: That guys math is all wrong.

Yeah that video was way too basic.
Hell a possible second shooter could have been firing a different weapon, which he did not account for.

I agree it is more than likely a drum fed weapon, the moral of the story is that is two different firearms being shot at the same time..
