The sheriff on Tuesday said the door to Paddock's room was ajar.

Are you too young to recall Moose during the DC Sniper?
Charles Moose was the face of the LEO scrambling to stop that sick frick and his protege'. He was the Montgomery County Police Chief.
I think the FBI prefers to do it like that so they can stay behind the scenes and focus on intel and apprehension.
Not too young but I definitely don't recall that.
I could understand for a big national news story on something that is completely local, but it just seems absurd to me to have a Sheriff give a presser when you have international people like Marilou Danley, potentially ISIS, etc. involved.
Not to mention, you'd think the FBI could have someone that knows how to handle the national media on this type of stuff more so than the Vegas Sheriff.

Sheriff was hinting at the real motive earlier in the first couple press conferences, but now that the Feds have gotten to him he's been told to stay tight lipped or change the narrative.
The guy today was the under-Sheriff. They've been switching back and forth on who does the pressers.

Yea man. Rock(Charles Dutton) Played him in the movie.
He was a big deal in real life. Kept his composure at most of them press conferences round the clock. And was very good with the media during that shite. I can't imagine being in that area during the 3 weeks of hell they put the entire DC area through.

If you will look at the post to which I was addressing, you will see that that is not one of the two ingredients of tannerite. Is it?
Im not sure why i read that and thought it was referring to the two different explosives Paddock had in his car, that why i posted the link where they said it was ammonium nitrate and tannerite. My apologies its just to close to 4:00 knock off i guess. I will take that slap across the back of my neck along with a few others from today!

Boy, talk about changing your tune. Earlier in this thread, you were laughing at anyone that even considered ISIS responsibility. You thought it was a ridiculous theory.
He either can't keep his positions straight from one moment to the next or just plays contrarian and says the thing most likely get attention.
fricking weird dude.

And there is the problem. Just because someone tweeted it or some reporter with an anonymous source reported it, doesn't make it credible.
Have fun believing the reddit conspiracy theories that Chad keeps bringing.
A reporter who broke some of these stories also has legitimate pictures of Paddock's Chrysler Pacifica leaving the Mandalay Bay garage on 9/25/17. 3 days before we had been told he arrived. She has pictures of a Mandalay Bay security monitor with the picture of the car, date, and room information on the monitor. It was posted a few pages ago.

Paddock's Chrysler Pacifica
That should have raised a red flag more so than the eleventy-billion guns he bought in a 365 day span.

Maybe to run the camera wire from the room service cart to his monitor in the room?

PLEASANT HILL, Ore. - The sheriff leading the investigation into the mass shooting in Las Vegas said Wednesday that the shooter had 50 pounds of Tannerite in his car along with ammonium nitrate. Located in Pleasant Hill, Oregon, the company that produces Tannerite Sports LLC traces its origins to 1996. They make "reactive targets." "When shot with a high-power rifle it produces a water vapor and a thunderous boom," the company says on their website. "Tannerite is the shot indicator target of choice for hunters, law enforcement, and U.S. armed services." The company's corporate investigator Steve Yerger said Wednesday that he is skeptical that what investigators found is the company's product. He said it's likely the sheriff was using the word "tannerite" incorrectly to describe a generic mixture of ammonium nitrate and aluminum powder.
