While I think the whole receipt thing is stupid, I'm not sure the issue with what you quoted. It's just one fanatic poster thinking they are on to something. I can assure you they aren't grabbing pitchforks and headed to the police department. Non-issue, imo. We'll agree to disagree though. Back to trying to figure this case out.

Until we get official word from the hotel, you can't trust a receipt like that for jack shite.
First off, I doubt whoever took the call asked how many people it was for? Maybe they did and that was normal, who the hell knows.
But I can tell you as someone that worked in food service through HS and College at many different places, I would put all kinds of crap on receipts that wasn't necessarily true. Whoever took the call may have just hit 2 on accident considering its right next to 1, and the whole damn internet is freaking out over absolutely nothing.

Its a lot easier to rationalize something and sleep at night living in a world of knowns than unknowns. A successful guy that's basically lived the American dream until he hit a random spot at age 64 and decided to kill 50 people a shoot 400 more is really hard to swallow.
At least if the person is a political nutcase, Islamic terrorist, etc. we can sleep at night knowing to keep our eyes out for those people and stay away from them.
What the hell do we change in our lives to stay safe from a guy like Paddock? There's nothing...that's what is scary, that's what drives this hysteria.

This makes no sense whatsoever. There are a ton of reporters who care far more about themselves than some global media agenda, and they'll post that note the moment it's leaked, if it's leaked at all.

I'm shocked that whatever was on the note hasn't been leaked yet. You know every officer that entered the room looked at it.
