The goal to ban bump-stocks is to prevent mass murder, correct?
Incorrect. It's to prevent folks from being able to easily obtain something that can make the damage far more worse. How in God's name have you not realized this yet?

again, do you think we should legalize murder because people are gonna murder anyways? Your logic doesn't hold water or lead anywhere once you get past "it won't help, people gonna kill each other anyways"
Of course not. But the argument is "let's ban it to prevent mass murder".
Ok. Let's see if that works.

Can u please explain it was deleted before I could watch it

I'm not the type to believe in conspiracies but this incident has plenty of ammunition for those that are.
I feel like minus the shooting itself you probably just described a a lot of people that live in a 30 to 120 minute driving radius of Las Vegas.
Recent white male retiree that enjoys gambling isn't a big stretch to have some guns living out in the desert or not be big into social media and most retirees don't have living parents
Some of you act like moving the guns was some tactical achievement or something. The truly terrifying thing is how simple this is and how hard it would be to prevent. Literally the next special event near a variety of buildings could see similar (hotel, apartments, Airbnb, offices).
Could happen at the Marriott on Mardi Gras day, the regency any saints game day, an Airbnb at jazz fest.... agree with the politics or not but you pair the ease of doing it with the tone in our country and I get why people are worried about gun access

Yeah man... Mass murderers usually give up because they can't quite get that aluminum bent the right way.
I'm not sure why it's so ridiculous. Most of these shootings are done with things that are perfectly legal. These guys aren't waiting to be cleared for a federal stamp on their automatic weapon. That road block seems to work. Why can't the same be said for regulations on mods like this stock or gat cranks, whatever the hell that is?

The guy at the end of the video just assumed everyone was deceased.

I agree with you. I've said it several times. I agree that we should ban it.
I agree it will make it harder for someone to mow down a crowd of people (didn't do anything at pulse).
But it won't prevent it.
That's the only point I'm trying to make. We can argue all day if you prefer, but let's get back to the post.

Guy walking around checking for pulses and getting help for those still breathing. Carnage everywhere....extremely sad. Very tough to watch.

That should be enough for net..

It's still there. A guy (probably Military) was walking around showing the aftermath in a pretty intense video

I guess Net should be satisfied now.
Holy shite, that one girl with blood dripping out of her mouth when the dude checked for a pulse.

But there were mass murders before bump stocks and there will be after.
You can make your own bump stock very easily. Banning them wouldn't do much to deter the determined.
FYI, according to updates he may not have even used the one gun that had a bump stock on it. It's looking like he used the tripod set ups and those he modified the lower to make fully auto.

You'd be surprised.
Look at the people still arguing about 9/11
I GUARANTEE loons will say these are crisis actors.
Meanwhile, these people's families are burying these victims this weekend.

Whoah. Wonder if that guy was ex military doing assessments. He was just calmly evaluating and order EMT to those that were salvageable

You obviously don’t realize how easy it is to make a semi-auto into fully automatic. I don’t think banning these types of devices solves the problems you want it to.

My god. That video.
Glad I watched but there won’t be a second time.

It won't. You can make your own just like you can make your own supressor using an oil filter. If someone is determined they will find a way. This guy modified his lowers on his weapons to achieve fully auto. He wasn't going to be stopped.
Same with people making bombs. You make one component hard to obtain and people find other ways to build them. Before Boston did you ever think of using a pressure cooker to make a bomb? No but people found the means to create destruction.

We can't totally eliminate it? Novel man. No one here would've gotten that.
Can we do something to reduce the number of incidents and damage of those incidents? Definitely.
Is the trade of added freedom for security worth it? Sometimes. No doubt we could be safer though.
