time for all the "anyone who thinks that wasnt fully automatic is retarded" people to come back and eat their crow. 0% of them have ever fired an automatic weapon, im sure

They're still talking about this Marilou chick like maybe they'll talk to her if she's kind enough to maaaaaybe come back.
How the shite is getting her arse not priority #1?
I'm assuming they are treating her with kid gloves to prevent her from freaking and going into hiding overseas. I'd have some agents in Tokyo tracking her arse down though.

probably $75k on an arsenal
I need to see more weapons then. In the two provided, you have about $4k of weapons, optics, attachments and ammo.

Like going into an adjacent room makes the sound of fire sound that much further away.
Do you know how sound waves work?
The windows were on opposite sides of the corner of the building. That would make the sound noticeably different depending on where you are listening.
Totally different acoustic profile.

There was a video from the base of the Mandalay where you could beyond a doubt hear serious fluctuation in the rate of fire. Basically was a dead giveaway it was bumpfire.

IIRC, I saw a body laying next to a car in the street.
If he moved a 20" barrel 1" any way, it would be a difference of 20 yards at a distance of 400 yards

That article shows a picture of the broken out glass, which from a glass professional's point of view is baffling. Looks like annealed glass, which is a huge safety issue. Code at the time the hotel was constructed would have required tempered glass in those locations. Not something most people know about, but it's a pretty huge WTF for me. Doesn't mean anything for the shooting, however.

SIAP:
A tour of the hotel room at Mandalay Bay
A man from North Carolina gave a walkthrough tour of the same room at Mandalay Bay where the shooting was carried out. You see the vantage point of the concert venue.

Yep. I honestly thought it would be a whole lot bigger.
Me too. I wonder if he selected a smaller one in order to keep it under the radar. If so it speaks to the level of premeditation.

$75K doesn't sound outrageous.
23 weapons found in Hotel room an additional 19 at his home. Include the number of rounds of ammunition and the attachments it is conservative IMO.

I've read where they have found 43 weapons between the room and his home.

Probably a stupid question, but when he breaks the two windows, doesn't all that glass fall all the way to the ground? I wonder if any of the falling glass hurt anyone?
The way the hotels are designed, it would land on the casino roof, or some other event space roof. It's not going to fall all the way to ground level.

Again, I just wanted to see some of it. I have quite a collection and don't have nearly that much money invested. So far I've seen two of the supposed 23 weapons in the hotel, I'm just skeptical of some of the "facts" and trying to figure out what to believe.

should we have at least heard from the gun store owners of their accounts with dealing with him, etc?
i would imagine some would have came out and said they sold him guns, etc etc etc

We did hear from one of them. They said he was a regular guy. No red flags whatsoever and passed background checks

would any have been concerned if he started acquiring tons of ARs in a short period?
