Four of the six were females who appear to be tourists.

“It took the NOPD 29 mins to show up and they weren’t going to send the EMS out until they had confirmed victims. Over 50 shots fired and suspect is still on the loose”. . According to person who called 911 from the Irish channel Neighborhood Facebook page.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Police are searching for at least one person who left six people injured after a shooting near a popular New Orleans Uptown bar.
Around 10:17 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to an aggravated battery shooting in the 3200 block of Magazine St. Police initially said four women were injured in the shooting, but after midnight, the number included two men.
Four of the victims were taken to the hospital by EMS. Two others were taken to an area hospital by private vehicle. New Orleans police said all of the victims were shot in the lower part of the body.

This is a lie.
Police were on scene before Fire was. It took Fire 2 min.
They heard the shots from the station on magazine and 7th.
Looked like an AK tore up a chicks leg.
ETA: also, Police/EMS/Fire share the same dispatch system. Everyone is dispatch under the same code.
The only thing EMS/Fire wait for is a code for scene safety. Normally police go in, secure the scene, and send us in from a staging area. Normally on gun shot victims we don’t even wait for the code.
We do this a lot, so that story is total bullshite.
