No comment from me on ppl who choose to live in NOLA.. but i can tell you from personal experience that i have attended far more of the three things mentioned above while living OUT of state than i ever did whilst living in NOLA…. Probably b/c i planned several trips per year with those three specific things in mind.. whereas when i lived in NOLA those things were always just kinda there, so didnt take advantage of them as often .

It was just another decent college bar on magazine. Then about 6 years ago overnight pretty low class blacks just took it over. It was a mixed crowd for awhile and the owners tried to change course to no avail. Now it’s pretty exclusively black on the weekends.

The minute this crowd takes over Le Bon Temps Roule is the minute I move.

I mean, I think you might be getting ahead of yourself on causation here. Susan Hutson gets sworn into office next week.
I’m not singing her praises at all by noting that

The target of the shooting (who was hit and returned fire) Nairobi Davis was arrested on two counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder last October. After allowing him out on a laughable 80k bond, Jason Williams refused all charges in March.

Nola.com had an article posted that said he'd already been targeted in a suspected retaliation shooting. Nairobi doesn't sound long for this world.

Yep. They missed him and ended up killing a 7 year old girl on Gen Degaulle on that one.

That cuck Williams is as big a threat to public safety as Covid.

frick Midnight Basketball. We need firearm instruction for these animals. At least with some target practice they might hit their intended target, instead of innocent bystanders.

We do this a lot, so that story is total bullshite.
It's a MrLsu story, about 80% fact with 20% unnecessary lies.

Now let’s hear the story of the case he was handed. Did he stand a chance given the evidence?

You would think things like further investigation or gathering evidence would still be going on now if it was only a weak case.

Indeed. And perhaps it is.
I’m not even arguing Jason Williams is good - but also not forgetting that nopd has been tragically bad.
There’s some irony that we’re in a thread mocking nopd for possibly not reaching the scene of the crime this weekend for 30 but also assuming they are handing the DA slam dunks and that he’s denying them to create anarchy.
If he let him go on 4 thefts, some drug dealing and a fight i would be more apt to buy the narrative of soft on crime. No DA is trying to loophole guys out on double murder/double attempted charges. Either something was fricked up with the evidence or something of the sort that would be steering towards the guy landing a not guilty verdict which would be expensive and non productive

Or Nairobe has money to hire lawyers that JW knows can beat him.
Or worse, that JW owes favors to.
Or Nairobe may be a former client of JW
Doesn't discount NOPD as sharing fault, but dropping the case that quick seems like JW didn't want to try.
