I have a deep-seated temper issue with being spit on. It goes back to when I was but a wee lad playing little league baseball. Some shithead kid kept spitting on me. I hated it, but didn't want to get in trouble. I told my Mom about it, and she said, "Son, you don't ever let anyone spit on you. The next time he does it, knock the hell out of him." That's been my approach ever since, really. I proceeded to beat the hell out of him, and he didn't spit anymore.
Now, in this instance it appears to be a woman spitter. I couldn't beat the hell out of her. I just hope that I'm traveling with someone who could and would.
Spitting on someone is one of the most disrespectful and disgusting things a person can do to another person. Period.

I’m not expecting them to body slam her, but they could’ve been more assertive and aggressive at moving her away from pops.
Pops could’ve have clocked that screaming count and I’d vote to acquit.

Spitting AT someone is considered assault. Spitting ON someone is considered to be battery. In pretty much any state or region of the USA.
Once she did that, she deserved any retaliation she would have gotten by someone defending themselves. I gotta give Grandpa credit - despite all the yelling, he handled it probably more calmly than I would have. I hope Karen serves many nights in jail for her rant/assault and battery.

He should have tested her ACL with a forceful kick to the inside of her knee. I’m not one to say “ I would have” because one never knows what they would do for certain. I would like to think I would have gotten to her at a higher rate than this guy. He did well but could have pushed some more buttons. Her saying “stand your arse up” would have likely gotten me off my game and made me want to hurt her. She deserves to be mocked for the rest of her days though.

That woman isn’t mentally deranged. She knew exactly what she was doing. She went off the deep end nonstop because that was her assignment. Karens like her are recruited to sacrifice their reputations, careers, and relationships to participate in organized terrorist missions to intimidate the general public into complying with whatever behavior the “new order” demands, whether it be wearing masks, getting jabs, refraining from speaking out against socialism or CRT or the Green Deal, etc. She extended her crazed assault on that baw to give the other passengers plenty of time to video her actions, to be put on the internet for thousands, if not millions, to see and fear.
