I'm surprised that officer let it get to the point of ole boy breaking a stick off on him. Not to mention it appears he allowed a potentially dangerous person to back him into civilians, thereby endangering other people as well.

That officer didn’t look like he was the most fit to handle duties in the field. That was a cage man who found himself out in the field.
ETA: the way the narrator was cheering for a shooting is totally disgusting. Every time I watch one of these videos I keep hoping the perpetrator will just stop. Like watching a movie you’ve seen where you wish the ending will be different but you know it won’t be. frick that narrator rooting for anyone to be killed. That’s the worst day in everyone around that incidents life probably. The officer and all the bystanders.
And the guy definitely deserved to be shot even before he got to the officer. But of course I wish the dude would’ve just passed out or stop. Terrible.

I think the officer also held his gun sideways.
This was not a "bad shoot" by any means, but the video still proves that officers need better training and higher physical standards.
