We’re leaving for the hospital in about an hour and a half for my wife’s planned induction. This will be my 5th and I just turned 45. Good
luck

To the op; I don’t know the perfect age to get married, but I can tell you I got married at 25 and divorced at 34.

I was 19 years and 2 weeks, and a student at LSU, my wife of 50 years was 16 years and 2 months, and a junior at Istrouma High School. She was a 1972 graduate. We were married in Woodville Ms.

Had just turned 23, she was 27. First kid a little after 24. While the marriage has had many problems I can't say I have regrets because he and his little brother are awesome and I wouldn't entertain the thought of changing anything that would have altered them.

What I would say, advice-wise, is that the person is much more important than age. That said, the younger you are and the less you have experienced, the less likely you are to know, really know, that you've got the right person.

The first time, twenty-six, I think. The current marriage, thirty-five.

I’m 30 and am still not sure if I want to. I love my freedom and it’s going to take a lot to get me to give that up. And when I say freedom I don’t really mean sleeping around, I mean just being able to do whatever I want to do when I want to do it. Maybe if the right one comes around one day

I was 28, husband was 24. Will be married 27 years in November. No regrets. I wasn’t ready to get married when I was your age. Whenever you do find the one and think you are ready, accept them for they way they are at that very moment. If they’re any issues, iron those out first, talk about your goals for yourself and as a couple, know how they handle money, talk about how you want to raise kids if y’all want them. You really need to know a person before saying, “I do” and those topics need to be discussed first.
