The problem is this trait usually comes with much more undesirable traits.
I’m sure every guy would like this, but it’s somewhat of a unicorn when it doesn’t come with other psycho tendencies. So in reality it’s not very good advice.

Real talk: cheaper to keep them. Let them win every argument. Know that the courts will always favor them and they’ll do anything to win. Never let it get to that point.

My wife has actually accused me of enjoying spending hours doing yardwork. Like it's an escape.
I HATE doing yardwork, but I'm cheap and enjoy having a decently maintained yard more than I hate yardwork. We've got nearly and acre an a half and by the time I mow, trim and push mow the areas I can't take the zero turn, and then blow the driveway and street it's about a 2 hour job.
Yeah...it's a great escape from hanging out in the ac with the kids.

This actually is good advice.
My wife got mad at me for something out of the clear blue, just as I had put dinner that she prepared on my plate. She said, "and don't eat the food I prepared", so I walked over the dog's food bowl and scraped it off my plate, and while she was standing there aghast and speechless, dropped the plate into the trash can, went straight for the door, walked out, got in the car and went to a local sports bar, enjoyed a game and had a great steak.
Returned home. She said she was sorry but couldn't believe that I dumped her food, then added, "I actually would have done the same thing if you'd said that to me."
And that was that. She was over whatever was bugging her and I got a good meal and happy dogs. Win/Win.
