First, look at her Mom. That is what she will look/act like in 20 years.
Second, make sure she can be your best friend. You going to need that to make things work for a life time together.
Third,10 year mark is the hard point. Once you get pass that, you just about got it made.
Fourth, Keep your dick in your pants once you get married. No strange, no matter what!
Always treat her like you want her to treat you.
I'm one month away from being married to my better half for 36 years. Still a work in progress.
This is pretty good. I'm on my 37th year.

Insist she doesn't cut her beautiful, long hair (you know, the hair that attracted you when she whipped it around on the beach that day, with the sun shining on her tan body) the day after the wedding.
Tell her she has to keep it til 50.

BJ's will become a myth to you after ten years. You will think of them in the same way as unicorns.....you want to believe they exist but you never see them

Get as many vacations in with your wife/gf as you can before you have kids.

Stay single and enjoy the freedom of doing whatever the hell u want to do. If u do get married, get a woman who will carry her own weight financially.
I would strongly recommend you never marry.
"Freedom" looks a lot like an empty, lonely life, especially when you get older.

I am 36 and never married. Not lonely at all, but I also live in a city with tons to do.

I fricking hate that shite. If you bring me a problem or issue, I'm going to propose some solutions or at least some mitigation. If you want to emote or share for the sake of emoting or sharing, talk to the dog...or join an internet message board.

Think of how many kids you'd have if your wife were that way...

Why do you hate that? It's so much easier to not solve the problem than to try and solve it

I don't want to hear shite if you don't want my opinion about it. It's just my disposition, I suppose.

Not if they like to babysit your kids
Hour is perfect, easy drive to leave the kids their once in awhile. You don't need to let them babysit every weekend. I guess it depends on how cool your in laws are though. Some people like theirs better.

Navy it's not just your disposition, most if not all military members are told from the beginning by their commanders, senior NCO's, and PL's that if you come to me with a problem you better have a couple of solutions. It's what we have been trained to do and it irritates the shite out of my wife when I present her with options to fix her problems.
It baffles the shite out of me that she doesn't want viable options to fix whatever the issue is, she just wants to bitch about it
