Because it’s such a common sense idea to spring forward and leave it there I am sure some bureaucrat will fight against it and congress will frick it up somehow.

Passed in Senate, hasn’t been voted on in the House yet. Who knows…… This is something Democrats and Republicans both agreed on, so you know, God forbid we can’t have any kind of success like this, so let’s shelve the bill.

They couldn’t figure out how to attach some nonsensical material to a straightforward bill.

We live in MS and it was voted into law last year that we will no longer be observing daylight savings time.

I live in MS as well and can guarantee you that you are going to DST next weekend. They passed a bill, like most states, that made DST permanent when the federal gov’t enacted a similar measure. That hasn’t happened. The clocks will change next weekend and again in November.

I would absolutely prefer the extra daylight at the end of my day versus feeling like all I have time to do after I get off work is eat and get ready for bed.

Standard time blows. Spring forward and keep it there next week.

I heard of a woman who was concerned about the amount of sun the crops would receive.

The alternative is it being dark until 8:30-9am at that time of the year when it's already cold in most areas.

So far, ll i am hearing is the people whose kids seem to stand in the road waiting for a bus, and those who want more time for their kids to play in the evening.

Pick one, stay with it, tell your little morons to stay out of the roads, and just roll with nature.

I'm with you but for different reasons.

I don't care what time of year it is, at 7 PM I am starting to wind down. If we stay at Daylight Saving Time year round, we got those long summer nights.

I can't stand getting in bed early and the sun is still out and kids are outside screaming.

I hate DST because parts of the year it fricks with me waking up. It helps me a lot
To have natural daylight in the morning to wake up.

I’m at work well before sunrise so that’s a nonissue for me. Doesn’t matter which one they pick, just pick one and stick with it.
