Since when did Michigan relocate next to Louisiana. Not even relocate, just duplicate.

For some reason I don't believe this. Renewables is way too high.

A lot of this has to do with the huge capital expenditure required to build a nuclear power plant, as well as the future decommissioning and disposal costs.
Don’t forget the massive legal fees fighting the NIMBYs before you even get a decent plan together. I’ve worked on 2 nuclear deals and both imploded as soon as the locals found out about it and buried the project in litigation. Then all the investors pulled out.

How does Prince Edward Island have such a high percentage of renewables?

Interesting that Joe Biden's home state is the most fossil fuel dependent.
I noticed that also. Come on’, Joe!

Really don’t trust a source that doesn’t know the correct abbreviation for Mississippi…..

Download the MISO app. More electricity generated by coal than ng in Louisiana but those two produce about 75% of all electricity in LA. Nuclear about 10%.

This is where i get mine...

Those retards used “MI” for Mississippi….

Politics/Waste Sites. Senator Harry Reid controlled nuclear energy policy in the Senate for the better part of a generation and would block the development of any large sites.

Mississippi….the Michigan of the southern landmass.

With possible exception in a few individual states, gas has surpassed coal nationwide.
But as someone else pointed out, except for Texas, electricity markets are regional now, so in reality it’s difficult to isolate stats for any particular state.

Does anyone know what they’re using in New England and eastern Canada?
Hydro is big.
I also know there are a number of wood byproduct energy facilities up there. Sawmills can take the sawdust and turn it into pellets to burn.

Would have thought the AL and TN share of Hydro would have been way higher.
But then again the TVA is a left wing social piece of union shite

Nuclear power is the answer but it’s hard to sell to the public.
