Ive seen it happen a good bit in a small town.. Not shooting a warning shot, but idiots just shooting at a bird or something with like a 4 10 or something..

Ive actually seen someone shoot at their older brother with a 4 10.. Dude had several small bb shots on his side but it was too far to do any real damage. And it was in a small town.

Fine.

But if you brandish a firearm to “threaten” someone. You either deserve to go to jail or be shot dead in self defense.

If this is you you’re a clown that needs to know your weapon and when to use it. And when you don’t you make us responsible firearm owners look like a jackass like you to uneducated voters who are all to willing to frick with our ability to keep and bare arms.

ld man was arrested after firing his gun when he caught a group of kids in Welsh toilet papering his house, authorities have confirmed.

We threw eggs. And some of the people I went to school with would have stood their ground and kept chunking eggs at the old guy trusting he couldn’t aim and laughing their arse off.

The guys I’m referring to in 2023: murdered, suicide, jail- (carnal knowledge)drug addict, lawyer (couldn’t keep the molester out of jail) engineer, firework stand owner, professional gambler (he’s a broke dick-don’t loan him
any money) and a couple of deadbeat dads. I grew up with some winners.

Wonder if shooting blanks in the air would be illegal

He got the "junior high principal who will eventually be forced to retire early and also gives golf lessons on the side" haircut.

Nothing wrong with that as long as he didn't aim it near them and didn't shoot upward such that a falling bullet could do harm.

FYI, it’s not a “falling” bullet that kills. A bullet fired straight up is going to lose all of its kinetic energy to gravity and then fall at terminal velocity. On the other hand, the horizontal component of a bullet’s motion is only acted on by air resistance. When fired at an angle, the bullet will follow a parabolic path and impact with most of its horizontal velocity intact.

They probably took too long
They should be doing drills to act quick and bring treats for the dogs to stop them from barking.

Losing Kevin Millican right after he got elected really hurt Jeff Davis Parish he would have been really great DA for the parish for a long time.

A quick google search looks like what he was charged with is a felony and basically can be applied to any case where a gun is used illegally...so discharging it could result in such a charge if the DA is so inclined. Given that it involved kids the DA was most likely so inclined.

Rolling his yard is definitely trespassing and I would imagine it could be considered destruction of private property....it could easily damage a tree that adds substantial value to a property. Worst case scenario is that the idiots rolling the yard were committing a misdemeanor. Using a firearm to protect your self and property usually requires some sort of equal threat...using a gun to run the kids off is a bit of overkill. Hollering at them would probably have done the same thing. Calling the police would have certainly done the same thing.

Wayyyy too many gun owners turn to their gun as their first and only acceptable option...and it provides legit fodder for restrictions on who can possess and where....idiots like this and others who do similarly stupid shite will be the main reason second amendment rights erode in this country....not everyone is responsible enough to own a gun. This moron is not...

Jesus H fricking christ. Gun nuts wonder why normal people do not trust them. Shooting people for being lost or making a mistake. Shooting someone for simply trespassing is the most asinine idea ever.

No doubt remorse is not in the took kit of most sociopaths in prison. I bet when they are being gang raped though they think about how they got there and conclude it was the man that did it to them....

Did hit anyone? Sounds like no so I fail to see where the aggravated Assault charge comes from.

Assault legally is the threat or perceived threat of physical harm.

Whereas battery is actual physical harm.
