No officer should have a problem with being recorded if you are doing your fricking job right and not violating a person's privacy.

Looks like an a-hole cop and if I was his commander or leader in the department it wouldn't fly.

Edit: No I don't think it is for recording him, because about thirty seconds before the tussle began there was more dialogue back and forth.

Cop was being a fricking dick. Could have wrote the ticket and been on his way.

People are dumb. The streets and public isnt a court room. You dont argue your case there. He wouldnt shut up and kept saying no, no, no. Im fine with his treatment.

That was painful for me to watch.

I just wonder what the end game of the sum of all of these types of events is going to be.

driver: "no sir, I stopped at the stop sign"
cop: "well, then you were speeding"

Without knowing if the driver has a criminal history, this appears to be a case of the cop having little man syndrome.

I would do it, but it would be nice to have a recording to show in court later to show that the dickhead didn't have probable cause.

no the cop asked him multiple times for his license and registration and the guy wouldn't produce them, further he didn't comply with anything the officer was telling him to do.

this is probably how most officer shootings begin, when you get a mouthy type person who then draws on the officer.

once the situation was contained to the officers comfort level, they loosen up and humor "educated" citizens.

If the guy would have surrendered his license and registration, answer a few qualifying questions, and simply just asked that the officer let him know when it was appropriate for him to discuss the situation leading to his detainment......he wouldn't have been dragged from the car.

yall really think this cop drags every person out of the car he stops?

Next time I am pulled over for a traffic violation I am going to tell the cop, "Nah, nah...hold up"

I'm sure that will go over well.
