I've told this story before, but when we were adopting a child, we had to wade through some trashy people.
A 22 year old girl was pregnant with her sixth kid and her 36 year old mother was pregnant at the same time. "Possibly" by the same father.
They turned us down because we were Prebyterian, and they wanted the child to be raised by someone who "were closer to their religion."
