then you are Tim Tebow. "I am a QB"

you are both out of work and too inflexible to accept what reality changed to.

if you can't get it that everything changes, you are going to be hit on the head by life like a ton of bricks, on the reg.

It's not so bad in supervision. The worst part are the idiots that work in the oilfield. There's lots of them. You have to deal with idiots in any job that deals with the general public but there's too many white trash people in this field. That stigma won't go away anytime soon either.

I've been on night shift bro. On here and there. Yeah man I can't wait. I hate being banned during the season. Twice I've been banned by the first game and didn't get reinstatement until after thanksgiving. Offseason is what got me

If you have had any crossover into Electrical Engineering classes or roles in your career. Come to DFW. Telecom is hiring :D

My TWIC expired since I've been overseas 5 years

If you've been working overseas for 5 years, then you've been making bank and arguably more money than 90% of the OT ballers posting here.

Unless you literally spent all your money on cigarette boats, F250s, and truck nuts, then you aren't hurting.

And if you did, then

I think a year in the Phillipines sowing my wild oats sounds like the best option right now.

I'm fortunate I was able to stash away a large nest egg with very little expenses. Dodged a few bullets in Asia as well Thank God!

Tho I really feel bad for Saudi - said no one ever!

I am still in it but getting out shortly, pay has been cut so much its not near worth it. I have one thing that I am holding out hope for to keep me in the industry but if that falls through I will most likely be switching industries. Sucks bc I enjoy O&G and have spent a lot of time and energy building my resume for it.

I actually turned down a job offer this week because the pay was so low and the insurance was crap. I already have shitty insurance so I don't need more of it. I've been staying pretty busy lately doing contract work with a few different companies with more work to come. I'm holding out for one of them to hire me because they have great insurance

I'm in the industry and it seems that people need to kind of change their priorities and expectations.
Planners are still in high demand for turnarounds and projects. Industry specific engineers can name their price.
We are dying for pipe fitters, boilermakers, and welders, shite, show up in Lake Charles with a good attitude and some experience and you are golden.
