Damn that sucks baw. I'm a sparky so I haven't seen any cuts yet, but being OGC firm our jobs are slowly thinning out.

I'm fine. It's the guys with 3 kids wife mortgage etc that are hurting. Oilfield suicides are way up. At least another year til hiring picks up - minimum.

If you haven't already, try to apply to some tugboat/towboat companies in the river. the work is nonstop over here. If you have a license you are pretty much golden to get a wheelhouse spot, but you could get a job in most positions. I know a lot of guys who got laid off from the oilfield and got hired on out here.
