What is your source? My forecast
Said rain ending mid morning. They seems to have been pretty accurate in my area.

mets are largely not worth a bucket of warm spit. God decides what the weather will be, not some nerd in a cheap suit.

What was your source that said it would storm for the entire day? What did they specifically say in their forecast to indicate that the storms would last the entire day?
You’re asking logical questions to someone who probably heard this “forecast” from the lady bagging his groceries at the supermarket.

Perfect day for golf if you don’t mind a little slop

You must be really young. Weather patterns have been unpredictable as long as I can remember and that goes back about four decades.

Last forecast I heard last night said it would be out by 8:00

Weather i saw said from 4-8 we would have storms. I heard the tornado alarms around 5am. But by 7 it was mostly stopped.
The cell in Terrebonne this morning looked pretty impressive until it reached the more populated areas.

I think he is a hired hand borrowed from another Hearst station to help out until they replace their chief meteorologist who was arrested earlier this month.

Why listen to those fools? I go outside to check the weather.

Every time I read something like this, I laugh. These people predict the future, and most of the time, they are pretty damn good at it.
Well, for this year their FUTURE prediction was a HIGHER than normal hurricane season prediction.

How badly have they missed with their forecasts so far this season?

I think you mean...
"Man, the COMPUTER MODELS got this weather way off".
Well then do away with computer models and go back to the TEX CARPENTERS of the meteorology people. In his day computers were not even a thing and he was every bit as accurate as today’s meteorologists. Called a chain link fence a “hurricane fence” because they were practically impervious to hurricanes.
