Amen brother. You are not alone.

I am one to think that words should not entice violence but that only goes to an extent. I’m a “turn the other cheek” kinda guy, but when I turn THAT check and you slap it too, then the gloves come off.
The idiot repeated was told to leave and he kept on egging it on. Got everything he deserved. FAFO is used here a lot, and these are the instances that it fits like a glove.
We always say, especially in white confrontations, “ at least the guns didn’t come out and no one lost a life”!
Well, he didn’t lose his life but learned a valuable lesson. One that obviously needed to be learned. What a dipshit!

Such a short sighted argument to claim hurting peoples feelings warrants assault.
Northwest Texas.....biker bar in the middle of nowhere, clearly a biker gang. You walk in making "vroom vroom" sounds real loud while using your hands like they're on handlebars and throttle. "Vroom vroom, f****ts.". You keep on, mocking them, telling them you're going to f their mothers, etc.
You don't think you're going to tote a severe arse whooping? You'd be comfortable doing that and would expect no further repercussion than having a bouncer push you outside?
Y'all mofos will go to great f'n lengths to defend racist POSs.

I dont need your spin. You think maga means racist because you are too ate up to see the reality. Just because you dont vote for the retards doesnt mean you aren't one of their intellectual peers.

Nah, not all MAGA is racist. But most racists are definitely MAGA.
Which is worse? Openly admitting to being a racist or having no reservations allying with racists?

I would be ok if they forcibly tossed him out of the bar. But stripping him and beating him with poles - unacceptable. He needed a whipping, but they went way beyond.

It's such a wildly entitled thought process people have to think that they can violently attack others over words. I'm not here to defend people using slurs but in what other context ever is it allowable to assault people because they said a word you didn't like? If the dude is acting erratically, have management tell him to leave. If he doesn't leave, have him arrested for trespassing. This idea of, "well he said a word I don't like so he deserved it" is so retarded.
Crazy thing is I agree. I just think the over arching lesson is that there are consequences to every action.
Perpetrators and antagonist can’t keep hiding behind the true but flimsy logic of “people shouldn’t react to incendiary language.” If they are bold enough to exercise their protected free speech, then they would be willing to accept what may come with that.
Just because we have rights doesn’t mean we do not have to have discretion. He failed at discretion and paid for it.
People desperately want a world where the subjects of their volatile and inflammatory language have no recourse. That they just take what is given to them because they deserve it. You’re gonna have an hard time getting people to go along with such baseless and conditional language. It’s flawed at its core. It’s essentially robing them of their own right to self determine. It’s hypocritical at its essence.
Pouring the beer on the guy was a little much for me.

People say a lot of dumb shite because the chance of catching an arse beating has drastically declined over the past 50 years. It might have gone a bit far in this instance, but I’d have no problem with a guy getting clocked for dropping an N bomb at the bar (after a fair warning). Likewise, maybe if we went back to kicking an arse every now and then, people would stop saying ridiculous things like “some women have penises” or “men can give birth”. The threat of physical violence can do a good job of curbing antisocial behavior.

I assume bar fights were much more prevalent than 70 years ago.

They beat this man with people from Poland and fans of the University of Miami????? Not only is that excessive you gotta have some sort of premeditated plan to have a ready supply of poles and canes about the place to administer an arse whuppin'....

I thought the OT motto was frick around, find out?
It seems like thats exactly what happened here.
Obviously those responsible should still be charged with their crimes if they can be positively ID'd

It would be interesting to see the cross section of posters in this thread who are all about "its too much to whip someone's arse over words"...and by the way that is obviously the correct stand to take, words do not warrant violence...and those who were not only fine but heartened when an ex Marine choked a man to death on a subway car over words....

That is not EVEN what happened...

Try again.

This story is way over the top and borderline unbelievable. Even if it's staged I find it interesting how the media is only portraying the patrons as patrons, and not talking about race only eluding to it with the guy interviewed.
It'll be interesting to see who's side everbody takes. The ones that say he got what he deserved, with the stripped down pole beating, no. The question is could the crowd have perceived a threat by him using that word and the threat being considered a possible hate crime. That's not a position they've ever been in before being called that by a crazy acting white guy.
