reminds me of a story my dad (API 1952, RIP) used to tell

he and some if his frat brothers were driving back from a road trip and one of them, my dad’s cousin Rodney, was just bitching about n**ers the whole way

they were driving past a roadhouse when he said “stop the car, i wanna go tell them sumbitches what i think of em”

they attempted to talk him out of it, but he jumped out and started swaggering confidently (if somewhat drunkenly) towards the door - his compatriots wisely left the car running

they watched in horrified amusement as he flung open the door - all activity in the bar stopped as all eyes turned towards this crazy drunken redneck - my dad said it was exactly like the roadhouse scene in Animal House

Rodney appeared to say something to the assemblage - and suddenly their expressions changed not to rage, but hilarity - the whole place erupted in laughter, followed by cheers

Rodney turned on his heel and strode back to the car with a grim but determined look on his face

as he got back in, everyone asked “what the hell did you say?”

Rodney sheepishly replied “well, i realized i was hopelessly outnumbered, so i looked em all in the eye and told em ‘i got just one thing to say: shite ON THE WHITE RACE!’”

like most of my dad’s stories, i never confirmed its accuracy…

such a wildly entitled thought process people have to think that they can violently attack others over words. I'm not here to defend people using slurs but in what other context ever is it allowable to assault people because they said a word you didn't like? If the dude is acting erratically, have management tell him to leave. If he doesn't leave, have him arrested for trespassing. This idea of, "well he said a word I don't like so he deserved it" is so retarded.

African Americans are the only group that go ape shite if you call them a word, truly amazing to see

I'm kinda surprised at the people defending the people that attacked him. At what point is something offensive enough to justify assault? What if someone wears a shirt you don't like. If a guy wears a shirt that says hail satan to a church, can they just start beating him up? What if I wear a Maga hat in a blue area? Should that justify me getting beaten?

Remove anything to do with race or politics from the situation for a minute. Picture an obnoxious drunk guy who goes into a bar and starts talking shite to a bunch of other patrons that were minding their own business. Do you not expect that he's going to end up getting his arse kicked by someone in that bar eventually?

The drunk guy in this story could've walked into a redneck cowboy bar and still ended up getting his arse kicked if he was walking up to random strangers in the bar and mouthing off. Probably wouldn't have gotten stripped naked, but still would've gotten his arse kicked

All these gangster wanna-be black dudes are queers... they learned from Tupac and Diddy. Just a bunch of violent homosexuals.

Someone? Sure.

ALL the someones? This is where the culture divides. With poles? Stript nekkid?

An arse whoopin is not the same as mob violence.

“He has to live with the choices he makes.”

That is the last quote from the interview.

I am ok with this as along as it applies to ALL parties, regardless of race, sex, and all other categories.

Going into a bar and inciting people who are doing nothing more than having a good time is stupid, too. Eff him, he deserved what he got.

I agree, he 100% got the arse whipping he went looking for. Yet, in a civilized society, you can’t allow people to assault someone because of mean words. Period. Unless I’m missing something big, no one here should be charged with hate crimes, however. That’s just silly.

The patron in the interview said the guy made his choice and has to live with the results; I bet he doesn’t feel like that same logic applies to the people who assaulted him. Consequences for thee; not for me.

Almost every fight I have ever seen or been apart of was started by someone saying something the other person did not like. If a guy calls your significant other a count you will just let that happen without repercussion? I doubt it.

This guy was looking for trouble. All he caught was a beating. In other parts of the country it would have been worse.

Bar is liable as it happened on their premises. Any patron could have walked away and ignored him. But if they attacked him, even if deserved, they should be arrested. Words don't deserve beaten to hear death
