All this for something that it is now known does not transfer well from surfaces. Person to person is main mechanism.

It ain’t minor

A lot of my factory guys work closer than 6', plus this was April 6th in the heart of the panic. Lots of factors went in to closing for a week. Cleaning was towards the bottom of the list of factors.

Surface viability of the virus was not known at the time of the incident. I think the company reacted appropriately.

Its hard to keep up with what is the latest reported on COVID19 and even when you read something you have no idea whether or not is true. But I think there are people who are overreacting an a lot of people on this board who are under-reacting.
In March and the beginning of April it was hitting people pretty hard. Yes it killed mostly older people and people with pre-existing conditions, but knowing very little about it at the time, I think the initial response was truly for everyone's safety. But as time went on and there was more data on how it was impacting people I think safety protocol could have been adjusted, but as expected it became a political game.
As for as what this dude did, frick him, but I think as the number of cases and deaths continue to drop people are feeling more comfortable, which is a good thing, but at the same time you can't loose sight of it. As the weather warms up, that could be playing a factor. By the fall things could start picking up again.. Or.. We could get to the election and by a month after the election never hear about this shite again.. I think it is still too early to draw your own conclusions as to exactly what is going on with it.

It ain’t minor - and that is the mindset that is going to cause numbers to spike and give politicians reason to impose more shelter in place measures rather than moving to phase2.
Like what we've seen happen in Georgia, right?

Surprised this hasn't happened more, honestly.

Sorry, but that incomplete sentence just bothered me for whatever reason.

Taking outlier cases and extracting them to mean a large number of people isn’t really a healthy skepticism

I think Georgia is a perfect example of the benefit of personal behavior over forced shelter-at-home policies. Practicing social distancing, wearing a mask and washing one’s hands are personal choices and they seem to be popular in Georgia, thereby preventing spikes in the spread of the virus.

How poor is your company's legal department if this is what they're worried about? Good luck proving that's where you caught it.
That's why I don't understand the NFL and other businesses. How is a plaintiff going to prove they caught the Chinese Flu at your ballgame?
