The term "Nazi" gets thrown around so much that it has lost a lot of its significance and this might be the embodiment of that. If it truly is a horrific moment in human history maybe we shouldn't be using the term so loosely but there is absolute no way that will happen.

There was a family that used to live down the road from us growing up. The dad would always dress up as something random. That was the whole deal "I wonder what he is going to dress up as this year?" One year I remember him dressing up like Abe Lincoln. I think one year he was a hippie. I don't remember the others, but it might have been the year before they moved.. I was 12-13 years old and he dressed like Hitler and everyone thought it was funny. And other parents making jokes like "now that's a scary costume". You know, some people have said Hitler was a monster.

First, its Halloween, that's what people do. If I was with someone dressed up like a Nazi, going to a Halloween party, my assumption would be that most people would laugh about it.. Because you know.. its Halloween and it is obvious he isn't doing it because he wants to be a nazi.. He was likely trying to think of something that no one else would be dressed up as and decided to have fun with it. He is a college student. I assume that all across the country on college campuses there are college students dressing up as who knows what.

This kid isn't going kill jews. I doubt he is hopped up on meth to make him a better solider on the battle field. Its a costume a college kid going to a college Halloween party decided to wear.

Congrats to her for not being able to control her emotions. He got the reaction he was looking for.

Police generally don’t arrest people for grabbing someone by the arm or pushing them at a bar unless the person is following up with more assault. They do generally arrest someone if they hit someone in the jaw with a beer mug.

College kids are so stupid. Typical liberals to take a costume so seriously that it almost escalates to violence. They love to show how tolerant they are by beating the crap out of someone.

And I can guarantee those dumbasses don’t know the first thing about Hitler, Nazis or WW2. And I hope he got arrested for something other than wearing a costume of an SS officer.

That’s what I think. If it’s okay to dress like an axe murderer, a chainsaw massacrer, or the literal devil himself, Hitler shouldn’t be that off limits on Halloween….. but I wouldn’t personally do it.
