Is he married? If so, find out his wife's contact info and send him a screen shot of what you will send her if he ever so much as looks in your wife's direction again.
I would say frick it just send it to her but there are kids involved so I believe a warning is appropriate before blowing up their whole world.

quote:all this is a non sequitur.
Our girl asked my wife @what is wrong with my brain” a few days ago, my wife told our little girl that nothing was wrong & that she is perfect the way God made her, then spent half the afternoon teary and depressed
We do everything we can to plug our girl in with “typical kids” as often as we can and on the surface, this looked like a great opportunity
The issue is you are super insecure and threatened by the creep at the pool.
He hits on your wife? Laugh hysterically with her about it and block his number.

I don’t fault her at all, but moving forward, she won’t be giving out her number to any more fathers...
Just to be safe, you probably shouldn't let her wear a bathing suit to the pool anymore either.

My wife would rather I not do that, but only out of compassion for his little girl

Neighborhood Karen alert...

Does he know that she's married?
Yes, 100%
Then contact the guy and try to come from a non-combative but firm stance. Tell him flatly that you don't want things to escalate and that your preference would be that we never have to speak of this incident again, ever.
But, that your wife is happily married and plans are to continue that way.
Hit him with a Les Miles 'Have a great day' and let it be.
He decides what the next move will be. But your kids cannot play together, he made this too awkward now.
Sucks for the kids, but daddy fricked that up.

It all depends if it goes any farther…. But I’ll know when and how to send the message to him…..

Serious question, how does me being angry that a man made a move on my wife equate to insecurity?

Ok why does it bother to the point that you started a thread on here about it????

what else did the long text say?
and hgow did he make a move? She gave him her number...he texted her, mentioned something about he's good at giving massages. Maybe she told him she was stressed out or maybe he noticed her rubbing her shoulders
Did he say anything else inappropriate to her while they were at the pool?

Because your emotional response seems to indicate that you believe there is a possibility that your wife would cheat afforded an opportunity.

If you have to ask, it's too late.

Honest answer -
I’m a hothead, my 1st thought was to confront the guy in public
I’m trying to calm down and walk myself back before I do something I will wind up regretting
