Don’t be surprised if your wife starts wearing sexier swimsuits and looking real pretty when going to the community pool from now on. Lucky for you the swim season at the pool has only a couple of months left.

Sounds like to me he was a single dad trying to run (bad) game on a woman that he had something in common with as a single parent. If your wife never mentioned you, maybe he assumed you’re not in the picture?
Your wife should simply have texted back that she’s married and the situation would be over with.
It’s probably not as dark and nefarious as you’re thinking.

The correct response from you was to ignore it.
Your wife is apparently beautiful, so don’t sweat these things. If you trust her, then you’ve got nothing to worry about.
