lorida exempts largest theme parks from state safety inspections
I assume that has something to do with the largest parks level of safety that goes into design and construction, but I'm not sure.
I have a buddy literally in line right now to get into the EU park. I wonder if this ride will be closed today.

I went to Kings Island once the day after 3 deaths in separate incidents. Not a single line for any of the rides. Something to consider…,,,

I'd almost guarantee he was obese.

Before the interwebs it was always urban legend that spread here in Atl about a kid dying from Cardiac arrest on Z-Force at Six Flags and then, again, when it became The Ninja. Turns out they were always true,
Worst one I heard was the little boy with his father on the Log ride at Six Flags over Georgia.
Early spring day that got busier than usual so they broke out more of the log boats from storage. Father gets in one puts his small boy in front of him. During the ride kid complained something was biting his legs/feet. Pop thought mosquitos. Boy was unconscious by end of ride and died shortly after.
They discovered a timber rattler had birthed it’s brood in the front of log boat and the babies were striking the kids legs/feet.
Horrible story that still haunts me since I first heard it.

That was is almost certainly false, there are snake bite death stories about parks all over the world with very similar themes.

Florida exempts largest theme parks from state safety inspections, and someone just died on a brand-new roller coaster
This is about as sensational of a headline as they could have made.
None of the incidents have been because of a ride malfunction. A safety inspection wouldn't have done anything.
The local carney who travels to fairs has and lives in his truck needs to be inspected.

I think the kid on the Z-Force died of a head injury

You'd have to kill me to get me on it.

It's a pretty intense ride. Slightly more intense for me than the Velocicoaster
if that's for real, holy shite. b/c velocicoaster is legit. hulk does give more G's, but there is one point in velocicoaster that you go UP a hill and back down that feels like you're going to get launched into the air and come off the tracks.

Fellow guest Maria Fernandez, who said she was one of the dueling racers at the same time as Zavala, recounted what happened to News 6.
“When I was on the ride, the travel finishes, and one girl starts to say, ‘Help! Help! Help!’” she explained. “...The girl was screaming, and we didn’t understand what happened.”
When the ride came to a stop, security began to usher riders off the roller coaster, Fernandez added.
She said that Zavala appeared to be slumped over, bleeding, with his leg seemingly broken.
“I don’t know if he was dead in that moment, but I think yes,” she continued.

Ha. I ordered homemade butterscotch pudding for dessert once bc the description looked good. My daughter asked, “what, are you 70?” I’m not 70, but enjoyed the dessert.
