I’ve been watching some of the coverage from news helicopters and it is pretty awesome watching the copters and tankers them these drops. God bless them I hope they turn the tide soon.

It is. And thinking about all the coordination that goes into managing the air and ground resources. It is an amazing machine when it is rolling.

Yeah, I knew it was just a matter of time before these two would show up and demand to be the center of attention. It would not shock me if her publicist’s house was burning down and Meghan wouldn’t accept that as an excuse demanding that he drop everything to find a film crew to document how sads she is as well. There has to be no worse job in Hollywood than being Meghan Markle’s publicist.
Meghan markle is an evil bitch

really want to know who these people are.
They tend to be:
1. Eco terrorists
2. Anarchists/anti-capitalism types
3. Firefighters
4. Homeless
5. Druggies
6. Mentally ill
Not necessarily in that order, some of those categories overlap each other
I was listening to a Hotshot Wakeup podcast earlier from last month, talked about arson arrests in Malibu and San Diego.
The San Diego guy was labeled a transient by authorities, he had already been arrested something like 9 times for arson. Three times in November alone.

He was one of the first people to outwardly and publicly start drawing attention to the growing arson problem over the past couple years, and he's been bashed for it. It isn't just Cali, either. Nor is it just the bigger fires, it is often smaller ones that don't get as much coverage. I have a shite ton of bookmarks for arson fires that I've tracked down. It is alarming.
ETA: When you couple intentional arson cases with the fact that the majority of wildfires are already human-caused......

That’s unbelievable. Should be treated like attempted murder.

The work those folks did in that canyon last night and today was remarkable. Knocking the fire back and keeping it from making a significant run at the Brentwood area saved a lot of homes and businesses.
Hopefully the increased winds don't cause problems tonight.

Winds are gusting over 50 now in the Topanga area, which is the western flank of the fire. Malibu may be tonight's concern.
ETA: Over on the Eaton Fire (the one closer to Pasadena) the wind is much lower, in the 5-10mph range.

@ewarren does seem to be her campaign organization account. It’s been verified since 2011 due to being a govt/organization account.
The one you list is official Senate account.
