Watch what either seems to be confluence bands or an outflow boundary west of Tuscaloosa. It has been developing on radar and may be an area of forcing over the next couple hours ahead of the mess in MS.

AFAIK the met working the warning desk makes the decision, hits the button, and it's issued. All there is to it

They’re off hwy 589 going closer to sumrall so a little ways from you. I actually used to live off Mamie not far from there

Watching from a distance today. Family and I are away from home this weekend. Was hoping the messy rain would stay around longer in NE AL but just checked cameras and the sun is out at home. Hope everyone is taking this seriously and stays safe.

It’s headed right for my farm. I got on hwy 12 headed east then cut south on section road to gooden lake. I should be south of it now
