It's just the fricking flu. How many websites have you seen over the years detailing all those who dies from the good ole flu? About 30-50,000 a year?

You don't remember? Why not? Nobody does.

It's the dumbest and saddest thing I have ever seen in my 72 years.

Are you also afraid of the dark????

Never going to happen. Wall Street and the rest are addicted to what amounts to slave labor. QE rules all.

30 years?? ????. Life expectancy is not 95. Why is it that everyone thinks they should live forever? Isn't most people in this part of the country religious? Shouldn't they embrace the afterlife? Shouldn't they embrace their faith? Why is it that the most religious people are always the most afraid of death?

how the frick do you know what kind of job I have? As it happens my job is very much at risk due to these measures. But what I stated is 100% truth that cannot be disputed.

Italy is on lockdown and still getting 350 deaths a day. Do the math and that’s 130k per year at the current rate for a country much smaller than the US. Anyone with a pulse should know that you need to nip this in the bud before it gets out of hand

It's not an over reaction.

Our ICU's are suddenly full of middle aged to elderly people suffocating on their own necrotic lung tissue.

We as a city will run out of ventilators fairly soon as this trend continues.

Hospitals will transition their operating rooms to ICU rooms. Children's hospitals will be full of dying adults.

All you idiots on here saying things like restricting businesses and crowds and what have you are being short sighted. Making sacrifices to help to ensure the well being of your neighbors and countrymen isn't socialism or communism, and it isn't anti-American or against the Constitution.

There used to be a time in our country when citizens would donate rubber, buy less groceries, save their money, buy war bonds all to come together to overcome a mutual obstacle.

So I don't give a flying frick about your opinions about how bars are now closed or your favorite restaurant is now take out only.

Grow up.

And if you are a fricking boomer spouting this nonsense then shame on you, because this pandemic can easily kill you as much as your 80 year old neighbor.

Things are about to get very very bad for our area.

It's about the tens of thousands of businesses and people that will be bankrupted and the trillions lost

Hundreds of thousands of jobs lost - most of them permanently.

This is a tectonic shift in the American way of life, similar to Pearl Harbor or 9/11. Folks will always talk from now on about the way it was before Wuhan Flu and after.
