I bought my house in Flood zone C intentionally out of a flood zone. Somehow the gubment was able to move the goalposts recently to AE now.

Some people in C and X flooded.

But you have it all figured out Jim.

Yes luckily our subdivision just started getting water in the front dutches around 5 or so. With 1085 closed, we cant leave though but its better than having a house with water in it.

Tallow Crrek is draining well now

Prob 6-8 houses in front took on water.

Everyone I know in the middle and back did well

Water up to middle of yard to 10 feet from house

The water at Hannan got to the curbs right around the edge of the building.

Our house doesnt require flood insurance and luckily we were the only area in that video that didnt have water. The majority of that area doesnt require flood insurance. Last time this area flooded was around 83 from what I understand.

No shite... Flood insurance is $350 / year for great coverage.

What town and what part of town? What is your flood zone? Is it X?
