Which one of the only 3 decent sized bars in Ruston changed its name to Sundown West? Rabbs, QStick, or what was a Mexican join next to Rabb's?

Sundown has been around since the 70's , it's downtown.

A lot depends on the exact tract of the ULL and the evolution of convection over the Gulf. The concerning thing is that the 12z Euro shows another 5-7" through Saturday night but keeps it just off shore. So the potential for more extreme rainfall is there but where does it fall? The models have really struggled with placement and timing, so just have to watch the real time data and see what the trends show.

The 18z 4k NAM also shows one more round of heavy rain but is shifted more west with it than the Euro. It has another 2 - 5" over areas already hard hit. Don't focus so much on where the higher totals are but that there may be one more round to get through before this over.

There's a little writeup on the previous page or two, only mentions flower Estates though. I'm sure TCC will have some water though

driving Houston to Natchez tomorrow.

i-10 Lake Charles, 165 to Alexandria, then 28/85/425 to Natchez. Looks like all those routes are unaffected so far by floodwaters.

My question - do you expect waters to be receding in that part of the state between now and tomorrow afternoon or rising? I've never taken this route so I have no idea of he rivers, etc.

Sabine River at the state line, Red River at Alexandria, and Black River at Jonesville are the major streams on that route. Sabine is having record floods, so you will want to check that. The other two should be okay. The water is coming down that way but shouldn't be there by tomorrow, and even when it does, I don't anticipate major problems there.

Where do I exit off 20 east to get to 61 south?

There's an exit for Winnsboro ....20 min out of Monroe ...that's exit for hwy 61...you get off and it's 20 min to Winnsboro. ..then Ferriday...down to Vidalia then cross over to Natchez. ..it's an easy stretch. Check 511.org state police site.just to make sure ..should be ok

Anybody been paying attention to the Red River/Atchafalaya's Miss. river flooding at Red River Landing near ORCS? RRL has gone up almost 3 feet in the last 2 days. 2 week forecast has it cresting at 49', but it's at 50.6' now. Anyone have any good info?

Unless something drastic happens that is within the expected range this time of year. It may make things rough as the spring wears on, but nothing serious at the moment.

Haven't been up there, think it's still closed off though. Probably only rained an inch or 2 in old Mandeville, winds have died down though so it should be draining

Yeah right. Some of these people want this shite to be accurate within 100 yards.

Too big of a margin. I want it to be accurate to the exact location of my head.

To be fair, today was the first day without inclement weather along his trip. He said he's got bad wipers and can't handle much water on the road, and while his trip wouldn't have had major flooding concerns a day or two ago, the weather along the route has been continuously shitty until today.

May still have another foot of rise to go. The bayou is a foot away from the expected crest at Bayou D'Arbonne Lake.
